Welcome to Monroe County Parks & Recreation!

Unmanned Aircraft Systems (Drones, Model Airplanes, Rockets, etc.) are NOT ALLOWED in or above all Monroe County Parks.

On October 18, 2017, the Monroe County Parks and Recreation Board decided to close the Playscape Playground that is (located next to the Splash Pad, Shelters 8, 9, 10) due to an unexpected renovation of the retaining walls located south of the playground. At this time, we are unsure of the duration of the playground closure.
We apologize for the inconvenience and invite you to enjoy the other (2) playgrounds at Karst Farm Park located near shelter #1 & shelter #3.

Monroe County Parks and Recreation Department is updating its 5 year plan for improving parks and recreation programs. Please help us out by completing a survey at the link provided. It will take about 10 minutes to complete. Your comments are valuable. Thank you!
